The heroine from Dragon Quest IV. Sorry this took so long to get out...let's just say the holiday season hasn't exactly been a great source of free time for me (or anyone else, for that matter, amirite?). If you've read my journal, you probably already know that I had pretty much finished this pic a week or so before Christmas, but my laptop went *pthbbbbt!* so I had to start it all over again.
Anyway, I went out on a limb and tried to perfect my method of giving the actual lineart the same color as the things they border, and I think it turned out a little better than my past attempts. However, this led to some pretty shitty attempts at shading, so I decided to just leave it as is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...even if it's not entirely complete in the first place.

I think she looks beautiful! I love her hair especially. I think the way you drew in your own style instead of slavishly following all the little Toriyama-isms is wonderful.
